Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in memory care or assisted living.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced residential care environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dementia care unit operations to ensure safety and resident-centered care.
• Monitor residents' cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and functional needs; tailor care plans.
• Lead staff, assign duties, monitor performance, and provide training on dementia care.
• Ensure compliance with NYSDOH regulations and facility policies.
• Communicate with families and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
