Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in assisted living, memory care, or related healthcare.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced residential setting.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dementia care unit, ensuring a safe, resident-centered environment.
• Monitor residents' cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized approaches to dementia care and interventions for challenging behaviors.
• Promote meaningful activities, social engagement, and independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, case management, families, and other professionals to address changes in resident condition.
• Ensure supervision and interventions to minimize wandering, falls, agitation, and other dementia-related risks.
