Spring Gardens Assisted Living in Orem, UT seeks a Memory Care Coordinator to lead a team of caregivers for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. You will enhance every resident's potential across physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains while maintaining a dignified, engaging environment.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, staffing coordination, and collaboration with health professionals to provide the best dementia care experience.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience working in memory care.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for all team members, residents, and guests.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations concerning the memory care department.
• Manages recruiting of memory care staff, conducts interviews, hires, onboards, trains, motivates, and retains team members.
• Coordinates departmental schedule to ensure adequate staffing.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Supports resident participation in activities and dining, ensuring nutrition needs are met.
