Sentry Hill at York Harbor is seeking a dedicated Memory Care Programs leader to advance the Embrace philosophy across residents, families, and staff. The role focuses on implementing six Embrace pillars, overseeing Memory Care operations, and personally leading 5-7 daily programs.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree (preferred), 1–3+ years in dementia care and management, and certifications such as Activity Director or Therapeutic Recreation.

Qualifications

• Formal education: Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Area of study: Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• Years of experience: 1-3+ years.
• Experience: Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, Senior Recreation Programming, and Management.
• Certifications: Activity Director Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant.
• Language: English fluency to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Promote Embrace philosophy for residents, families, and staff.
• Oversee six pillars of Embrace.
• Daily operations oversight of Memory Care with director and health team.
• Lead 5-7 memory care programs daily and assist in planning activities.
• Provide education and hands-on support to staff with community managers.
• Monitor programs to maintain high satisfaction in a fiscally responsible manner.
