Job summary

Village Shores is hiring a Reflections Coordinator to facilitate daily activities at our senior campus. This is a full-time day shift role with competitive pay, strong benefits, and a mission-driven culture.

As part of the Reflections team, you will assist the Director in planning and delivering memory care programs, support residents and families, and stay current with dementia care practices while using Office tools for communication and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of dementia and memory care diagnosis, including Alzheimer's training.
• Excellent time management and communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work with the Director, independently or as part of a team.
• At least 1 year in an activity programming-related position, preferably memory care, or experience as a caregiver.
• Have the physical, mental, and emotional health and energy to perform the requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in the planning, facilitating and monitoring the Memory Care Program to ensure the overall success of all resident programs in the Reflections Neighborhood.
• Facilitate meaningful programs for residents with dementia by taking individual needs into account and assuring customer satisfaction to the highest degree possible.
• Serve as an informed expert by staying up-to-date and knowledgeable about all the products and procedures of the community.
• Be involved and interact with people (residents, families, visitors, staff, home care agency, potential referral sources, community services, other health providers, community groups, etc.).
• Use computer programs in Microsoft Office for public communications, calendar creation, and newsletter development, or be willing to learn and implement.
