Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an LPN or RN to develop a best-in-class Dementia Care program within Memory Care. The role requires at least 2 years in long-term care and 1 year in memory care, with supervisory experience and licensure recommended.

You will be part of the nursing center interdisciplinary team, creating engaging programming, coordinating quality care, and managing admissions and the dementia unit budget. The position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Graduate with Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, nursing, therapeutic recreation, psychology, gerontology, or related field.
• Three years of direct dementia care experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Recommended state licensure in respective discipline.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff meetings to coordinate quality patient/resident care.
• Develop programming that maximizes abilities and provides contentment.
• Perform ongoing quality improvement evaluations and report issues.
• Develop daily and monthly activity calendars for the unit.
• Advocate for patients/residents and families through communication and support.
• Manage admissions and discharges from the unit.
• Oversee dementia program budget and financial performance.
