You will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality services and support for residents and their families. The role requires experience in dementia care and supervisory responsibilities, with a focus on program development, budget oversight, and compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Three years of direct dementia care experience or approval by Nursing Home Administrator/Executive Director
• Two years of supervisory experience in a health care setting
• Recommended state licensure in respective discipline
• Must meet state requirements for concurrent job responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Member of the nursing center interdisciplinary team and participates in staff meetings to coordinate care
• Assess patients/residents and develop programming to maximize abilities and provide contentment
• Perform quality improvement evaluations including environment, documentation, and team functioning
• Develop daily and monthly activity calendar for the unit
• Advocate for patients/residents and engage families through communication and support
• Manage admissions and discharges from the unit
• Oversee budget and financial performance of the Dementia Program unit
