Job summary

Full Bloom Memory Care® is seeking a Memory Care Partner who blends compassionate caregiving with purposeful engagement. You’ll design activities aligned with each client’s interests, host conversations, and support daily routines.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, patience, and creativity in a dementia-care setting. You'll join a team dedicated to meaningful days, where outings, music, games, and conversations create joy and belonging for residents.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in dementia care, caregiving, education, behavioral health, recreation, or related field (professional or family experience welcome)
• Reliable weekly schedule (e.g., Tue–Sat or Sun–Thu) with one recurring weekend day
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass background check and eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Eligibility to register with IDPH Health Care Worker Registry

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with clients and families
• Create engaging daily experiences tailored to each client's interests and abilities
• Lead cognitive, recreational, and enrichment activities
• Encourage movement, walking, and healthy daily routines
• Accompany clients on senior center and community outings
• Support independence while providing compassionate caregiving and personal care as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Communicate closely with the dementia care team for continuity of care
