Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; experience in service to people/administration.
• At least five years in service/administration, or two years as assistant administrator in retirement community or related setting.
• Membership in professional or community service organizations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations across departments and implement community policies.
• Supervise department heads; plan, assign, review, and develop staff; manage discipline and promotions.
• Develop programs to enhance resident welfare and assist in care planning; respond to resident/family requests.
• Oversee sales, move-ins/move-outs; maintain records and budgets; review invoices.
• Monitor finances, budgets, and cash management; ensure regulatory compliance and licensing reporting.
• Promote effective relationships with community resources and plan emergency procedures.

Education
