Job summary

Vitality Living Spring Hill Community is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to support residents with medication administration and daily care on Fridays and Saturdays (11pm–7am). You will maintain accurate records, observe resident health, and ensure a clean, organized medicine supply room while adhering to policies and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
• Provide direct resident care.
