Job summary

Vitality Living Lake Forest Community in Sanford, FL seeks a Medication Technician to support resident care and administer or assist with medications in accordance with physician orders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with medication as prescribed and documented.
• Maintain residents' daily medication records and compliance.
• Observe, document health and emotional changes, report to supervisor.
• Keep the medicine supply room clean and organized.
• Audit medications and controlled substances accurately.
• Assist with medication cart audits.
