Job summary

INSIGHT LIVING in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Medication Coordinator to administer medications, monitor residents’ health, and document care for Memory Care residents. This role requires strong English communication, accurate record-keeping, and familiarity with electronic health records, safety protocols, and memory-care best practices.

Night shift, full-time, with focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving or healthcare settings, preferably as a medication aide/medication technician.
• Training or experience in memory care or dementia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication administration schedules for residents according to prescribed dosages and timing.
• Ensure accurate documentation of medication distribution, including updated medication lists and administration logs.
• Monitor medication storage and inventory levels, coordinating refills and supplies as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols to protect residents.
• Monitor health and cognitive changes, report to leadership.
• Respect residents’ dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Collaborate with care team to provide comprehensive care.
