Job summary

You will coordinate med schedules, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings, preferably as a medication aide or medication technician.
• Strong communication skills in English with residents and staff.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and medication management protocols.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication administration schedules for residents according to prescribed dosages and timing.
• Ensure accurate documentation of medication distribution, including updated medication lists and administration logs.
• Monitor medication storage and inventory levels, coordinating refills and supplies as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are in place to protect residents.
• Monitor residents’ health and any changes in behavior, communicate with leadership as needed.
• Respect residents’ dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Collaborate with care team to provide comprehensive resident care.
