Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification helpful, but not required.
• Provide care, supervision and services for residents during your shift.
• Ability to complete designated shift assignments accordingly.
• Knowledge of aging, Alzheimer's/dementia care and ADL care preferred.
• Experience with memory impairment related disorders is preferred.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and safe transfers.

Responsibilities

• Develop a naturally inspired relationship with residents and families.
• Ensure care delivery is dignified and of quality standards.
• Communicate with residents with compassion, empathy and validation.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per plan of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary operations to ensure quality care.
• Daily light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisors promptly.
• Comply with all laws, policies and licensing requirements.
• Maintain mandatory training requirements.
