Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Minimum of three years in a senior living community.
• Minimum of three years in a management/supervisory role.
• Ability to administer medications and treatments per physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident needs and provide nursing care per care plan.
• Directly supervise CNAs and staff, training and evaluating performance.
• Apply Pathways of Purpose through functional engagement during daily interactions with residents.
• Ensure resident rights are maintained.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document nursing history and assessments at admission.
• Address resident/family/physician concerns and refer to Clinical Services Director as needed.
• Respect advance directives and support residents and families.
• Respond to life-threatening situations according to standards and policies.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Attend in-service training programs and report hazards or infection control issues.
