Job summary

Northridge Village in Ames, IA is seeking a Life Services Coordinator - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified to join Maggie’s Place Memory Care. The role centers on supporting residents’ independence and well-being through personal care, mealtime assistance and activity engagement.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of dementia care experience, 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED. Medication management is recommended; a strong team and caring environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

Must have 1-2 years’ previous experience working with individuals with dementia, preferably in a memory care setting.
Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
Medication Manager OR Certified Medication Aide reccomended.

Responsibilities

Assists with personal care, medications, social and recreational activities, meals and other tasks to support tenants’ well-being.
Maintains safety and dignity, follows health and safety policies, and documents changes per procedures.
Prepares and serves meals, assists with housekeeping, and engages residents in calendar activities and events.
