Job summary

Franklin Park Sonterra is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator with experience in memory care to join our staff. This full-time role runs 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. Pay is based on experience.

You will plan and run activities, coordinate monthly calendars and newsletters, and encourage resident participation while supporting independence and safety in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Background in art, music, drama or occupational therapy preferred.
• One-year experience in a social or recreational program in a licensed health care setting preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or seniors with dementia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and run all community activities with the DLE.
• Assist with monthly activities calendar and newsletter.
• Encourage residents to participate and support independence.
• Assist with supplies and equipment for activities.
• Attend off-site outings and supervise residents for safety and meaning.
• Maintain the Activity Participation Tracking Chart.
• Support the Parallel Programming schedule and respect residents’ privacy.
