Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to create meaningful Life Skills activities that foster purpose, familiarity, and dignity for residents living with memory loss. You will develop and lead programs, engage residents daily, and organize enrichment clubs to enhance quality of life.

The role requires 1+ year of memory-impaired senior experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors
• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability
• Experience leading group activities preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities
• Document participation per quality standards
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities
