Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager in Michigan to create purposeful experiences for residents living with memory loss. You will develop and lead individualized Life Skills programs that promote dignity, familiarity, and engagement, coordinating with team members and volunteers to run sessions and clubs.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year memory-care experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to tailor activities

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
