Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager in Arlington, VA to create and manage personalized Life Skills experiences for residents living with memory loss. You will plan engaging activities, oversee clubs, and tailor programs based on ISP and resident profiles.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year working with memory-impaired seniors, strong communication, and organizational skills; group-activity leadership is a plus. Salary ranges and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
