Job summary

South Hill Village Assisted Living and Memory Care is hiring compassionate caregivers to support our residents with daily activities and personal care. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, respectful care in a senior living community.

We value reliability, communication, and a genuine interest in helping older adults maintain independence and dignity. Shifts include Day/Evening/NOC with FT/PT options, and meaningful growth opportunities through our mentorship program.

Qualifications

• Must be HCA certified or Certified Nurse Aide.
• One-year experience working with older adults preferred.
• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work full shifts and overtime as needed.
• Genuine interest in elderly care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and assist with activities of daily living.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervising staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents and coworkers.
• Collaborate with the care team to support individual resident plans.

Highlights of the HCA Caregiver/Care Partner Position:

• Must be HCA certified or Certified Nurse Aide.
• Experienced Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) per state requirements.
• One-year experience in working with older adults preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing, with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work overtime, as needed.
• Must have a genuine interest in the care of the elderly and for issues that impact the elderly.
• Ability to relate to residents and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and to convey strong public-relations skills.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional approach with coworkers, residents, and staff.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00.
