Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Simpsonville, South Carolina is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Harmony Square Director in creating, facilitating, and implementing a diverse range of wellness-based activities for memory care residents. You will help plan monthly calendars, lead several programs daily, and coordinate with staff and families to promote participation and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in activities or senior care is highly desired.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing a monthly activity program based on wellness dimensions.
• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day for memory care residents.
• Survey and interview residents to capture interests and satisfaction with activities.
• Coordinate with Harmony Square team to plan calendars, events, and outings.
• Build relationships with residents and families to encourage participation and satisfaction.
• Maintain records and assist in resident council meetings.
