Job summary

Atria Senior Living Hudson is seeking a dedicated activity/rec therapy professional to lead Life Guidance programs for residents. You will plan and deliver engaging activities, supervise staff, and support daily living activities while fostering a warm, inclusive community environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of recreational therapy methods for dementia care, and state-mandated certifications. Various shifts available.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of recreational therapy methods for Alzheimer’s/Dementia residents.
• Experience developing and implementing activities for adult populations.
• Certification(s) based on state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leads Life Guidance programs and develops service plans.
• Provides a range of recreational activities with supervision.
• Collaborates with Life Guidance staff to plan daily programs.
• Plans resident birthday celebrations and seasonal activities.
• Engages residents to encourage participation in activities.
• Maintains records of activities and attendance as required.
