Job summary

PACS is seeking a Memory Care Director to plan, direct, and implement memory care programming for residents in a Berkeley community. The role involves developing engaging monthly activities and collaborating closely with the Health Services Director on care plans.

You will supervise memory care staff, participate in hiring and onboarding, and ensure regulatory compliance while communicating effectively with residents, families, and the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to organize work, manage time, and document processes clearly.
• Experience in memory care or similar elder care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and implement memory care programming and services.
• Supervise and schedule Memory Care team members, and participate in onboarding.
• Develop monthly programming for Memory Care using the focus plan and materials.
• Collaborate with Health Services Director to create initial care plans for residents.
