Job summary

Morningside House Senior Living in Exton, PA is seeking a Director of Memory Care to lead the Memory Care neighborhood with a compassionate, resident-centered approach. You will supervise staff, develop engaging programs, collaborate with families, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations to deliver exceptional dementia care.

The role requires prior supervisory experience in long-term care, CPR and First Aid, and a passion for seniors living with Alzheimer's and related

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• CDP certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Memory Care neighborhood, ensuring safe, compassionate, and personalized care.
• Lead, support, and supervise Memory Care team members while promoting a positive, respectful culture.
• Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and 24-hour direct care coverage for Memory Care residents.
• Coordinate resident assessments, service plans, and state documentation with departments.
• Develop engaging activities and monthly calendars in coordination with Life Enrichment.
