Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Memory Care Director to lead the Traditions dementia care neighborhood. You will ensure high-quality care, collaborate with culinary and health services, and drive personalized care plans. The role emphasizes supervision, regulatory compliance, and program leadership.

Responsibilities include recruiting memory care staff, scheduling, staff development, and coordinating resident activities and dining to meet service plans and family expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with persons with dementia.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory/managerial experience.
• BA/BS in Gerontology, psychology, sociology, or related field.
• Residential Care Facility for the Elderly administrator license may be required.
• Certifications related to dementia care (CDP, CAC, CAE, CDCM, etc.).
• First aid and CPR certification required; Food Handler’s certification required.
• Criminal background check and health screening including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Traditions memory care neighborhood in the community.
• Ensure delivery of dementia care services aligns with resident service plans.
• Collaborate with culinary, activities, and health services to personalize care plans.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, motivate, and retain memory care staff.
• Coordinate scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Support engaging daily activities and dining experiences for residents.
