Job summary

The Ivy Thornton, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Memory Care Director to lead the Traditions dementia care neighborhood with a Whole Living approach, partnering with residents to support independence and a dignified life.

You will supervise recruitment, scheduling, and collaboration with culinary, health services, and activities teams to deliver personalized care plans, ensure safety, and meet state regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia care and person-centered approaches.
• Experience supervising and mentoring memory care staff.
• Familiarity with state regulations (Title 22) in memory care.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Traditions memory care neighborhood and ensure care excellence.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain memory care staff.
• Coordinate staffing to meet residents’ needs and company standards.
• Collaborate with culinary, activities, and health services teams to implement personalized care plans.
