Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a Senior Living Memory Care Director in West Chester, PA to lead Garden House services and resident programs. You will collaborate with families, physicians, and staff to deliver compassionate care and ensure safety, dignity, and compliance with state regulations.

You will oversee staffing, training, budgeting, and care documentation in our electronic system, while guiding a cohesive team focused on exceptional resident experiences and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN or RN licensure (PA) preferred.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Dementia care training per state regulations.
• Minimum 3 years in senior living, geriatrics, or dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements high standards for Garden House services.
• Engages with residents to assess needs and services.
• Manages resident records and care documentation in electronic systems.
• Coordinates with families, physicians, and pharmacists.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and protects resident rights.
• Leads staffing, training, and performance reviews.
• Oversees budgeting and census development.
