Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant – Medication Aide (CNA-M) for Gray Birch in Augusta, ME. This part-time role (32 hours/week) offers days 5:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified CNA-Ms.

You will perform basic patient care, assist with emotional and spiritual needs, and administer medications per physician orders while maintaining clean, stocked units and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid State of Maine CNA-M certification.
• Certification from an accredited Medication Technician Program (CMT) is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong teamwork.
• Commitment to high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in condition to the nursing staff.
• Assists patients with meeting emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation.
• Keeps unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
