Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident care plans.
• Identify residents and administer treatments or meals using authorized methods.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and prevent unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist with daily living tasks and mobility to ensure resident comfort.
• Prepare rooms, greet residents, and orient them to roommates and staff.
• Follow policies for exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials.
