Job summary

Americare Senior Living – Glendale Gardens Community in Clinton, Missouri is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA/L1MA) for the memory care neighborhood. This full-time night-shift position involves safely administering prescribed medications under supervision and supporting residents with daily living activities in a home-like setting.

You will verify resident identities, document dosing, monitor responses, and report changes to licensed staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Missouri Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with MO certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns.
• Assist with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, home-like environment.
• Observe and document resident care, conditions, and intake/output.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers and perform duties including housekeeping and tours as needed.
