Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Memory Care Support Specialist to lead and implement memory care programs in our Greenwood Meadows facility. The role emphasizes person-centered care, empathetic resident-family engagement, and collaboration with clinical teams to uphold high standards.

The ideal candidate brings a social work or human services background, a passion for geriatric advocacy, and experience with dementia care best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human services field is required.
• Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and senior care excellence.
• Previous social services experience preferred.
• Demonstrates CARE values to residents, family members, customers and staff: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement memory care programs and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies.
• Provide empathetic engagement with residents and families.
• Train and support staff in Alzheimer’s disease processes.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
