Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Memphis is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on care for seniors within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The ideal candidate is reliable, empathetic, and team-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced setting.

CNA licensure is not required, but welcomed; shifts include 6:30am-2:45pm and 2:30pm-10:45pm with rotating weekends. We offer career growth opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team dedicated to helping residents

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant caregiving training.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of seniors living in our Sensory Care Unit.
• Promote and inspire participation in sensory activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being.
• Assist in setting up and leading sensory activities for residents in Sensory Care Unit.
• Responsible for getting residents to meals, serving meals to residents, cuing, prompting, and assisting with feeding when needed.
• Responsible for setting up for meals and cleaning dining area after meals.
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence.
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and promptly report any observed changes to supervisors.
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Make Hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.
