Job summary

Oakmont Management Group—Oakmont of Silver Creek in California is seeking a Caregiver for Friday through Monday, 2 pm to 10 pm, in memory care. You will assist residents with daily living activities and provide companionship to support independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include aiding with ADLs, ensuring safety, and coordinating with the care team. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, meals, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, continence).
• Respond promptly while maintaining residents' dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate observed changes in condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
