Job summary

American Senior Communities seeks a Memory Care Activity Assistant to enrich residents’ lives with warmth and genuine care. This part-time role focuses on connecting with residents, planning engaging activities, and supporting a safe, joyful living environment within our memory care program.

You will work closely with the care team, bringing creativity, patience, and compassion to daily activities and social interactions, helping residents feel valued every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of State approved Nursing Assistant training or CNA program.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Engage and support memory care residents with warmth and kindness.
• Create engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned to residents' cognitive and physical abilities.
• Collaborate with the care team to provide holistic support and ensure residents feel seen, heard, and valued.
