Job summary

Ivy Living seeks an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care at The Ivy Castle Rock. The role coordinates and promotes activities ensuring a rewarding social atmosphere for residents in the Traditions Memory Care area.

Responsibilities include organizing excursions, communicating with residents and families, and maintaining safety. A high school diploma and driving capability are required; prior experience with seniors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires valid Class C driver license to transport residents (Class B preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in creating a rewarding social atmosphere with regularly scheduled activities.
• Facilitate communications with residents, families, visitors, and staff in a tactful and friendly manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles as needed.
• Encourage teamwork across departments and staff.
