Job summary

Ivy Living is seeking an Activity Coordinator to organize, promote, and guide engaging activities for residents at Traditions Memory Care. You will help create a motivating social environment, plan excursions, special events, clubs, and educational sessions to enhance independence and quality of life.

Eligible candidates should have at least 1 year of experience coordinating activities for seniors, a valid Class C (or above) driver's license, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors is preferred.
• Ability to drive community vehicles is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in creating an engaging social atmosphere in Traditions Memory Care.
• Organize activities, excursions, events, and clubs for resident participation.
• Promote resident involvement through high-quality scheduled activities and guest speakers.
• Maintain safety standards and a secure environment for residents and staff.
• Coordinate transportation using community vehicles when needed.
