Job summary

The Ivy Castle Rock is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care to organize and promote engaging activities for residents, enhancing independence and quality of life in alignment with our mission.

Responsibilities include supporting the Memory Care Director, creating a lively social program, coordinating events, and ensuring safety. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential; a valid driver's license is preferred to transport residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C; Class B license preferred to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in creating a rewarding social atmosphere throughout Traditions Memory Care.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled activities, excursions, events, and clubs.
• Communicate effectively and with tact with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles and collaborate with other departments.
