Job summary

Avamere at Park Place in Portland is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support memory care residents. This part-time role (Tue-Sat, 2-7pm) involves assisting the Life Enrichment Director with planning and delivering activities to enhance well-being and engagement.

You'll lead group and one-on-one activities, document participation, coordinate with staff and families, and help with setup and transportation as needed. CPR/BLS and active driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Active, unencumbered driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing activities for memory care residents.
• Lead group activities and engage residents in one-on-one interactions.
• Maintain records of resident participation and coordinate with staff.
• Transport residents to and from activities and assist with setup.
