Oakmont Management Group in Escondido/Oceanside area seeks an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care to organize engaging activities and excursions. The role supports residents in maintaining independence through diverse programs.

The candidate should have 18+ years, a high school diploma, and ideally 1 year of senior activity coordination. Valid driver license required; MS Office skills beneficial. Careful attention to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director by organizing, promoting, and directing activities and excursions to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled activities, events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, clubs, games, and educational classes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors with tact and friendliness.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles and collaborate with other departments.
