Job summary

Morningside House of Exton is seeking a Memory Care Activities Coordinator / Assistant Memory Care Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and lead engaging activities for dementia residents. You will also assist with select administrative tasks and daily caregiving to support the department's success.

The available schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 8am-4pm, with opportunities to grow into a leadership role while collaborating with the Memory Care Director and care teams.

Qualifications

• Experience planning activities for seniors, including those with dementia.
• Ability to lead group and individual engagement activities.
• Comfort with assisting daily care when needed and documenting participation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead daily activities and enrichment programs for Memory Care residents.
• Lead games, music, crafts, and exercise to promote engagement.
• Build relationships with residents and encourage participation.
• Assist with decorating, setup, and special events in memory care.
• Collaborate with nursing, dining, and life enrichment teams to support quality of life.
• Provide direct care when needed and maintain activity calendars and records.
• Support director with scheduling, supplies, and admin tasks.
• Assist with onboarding and training support within the department.
