Job summary

Columbia Cottage is seeking a compassionate Activities Coordinator to lead programs for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. You will design and implement engaging activities that stimulate memory, cognition, and social connection, while collaborating with the care team to tailor plans to individual needs.

The ideal candidate has experience in senior living, knowledge of dementia care, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior living environment, especially Memory Care.
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's disease and supportive therapies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program for Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Plan and coordinate therapeutic and recreational activities for cognitive, physical, and social engagement.
• Collaborate with the care team to tailor activities to each resident's needs.
• Maintain records of participation and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Foster a positive, supportive resident community.
