Job summary

Avamere at Park Place in Portland, OR is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support memory care residents by planning and leading engaging activities under the Life Enrichment Director.

This part-time role requires strong communication, empathy for seniors, and experience with activities in long-term care. A valid driver’s license and CPR/BLS are required; driving the company vehicle may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.
• Must have active Driver’s License.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Activity planning and implementation.
• Lead group activities and engage residents one-on-one.
• Maintain records of participation and feedback.
• Coordinate activities with staff and families.
• Transport residents to activities as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and ensure safety protocols.
