Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Clear verbal communication; positive attitude and team orientation.
• Strong performance management skills; coach and document performance issues.
• Ability to use independent judgment to meet company goals.
• Operate standard office equipment.
• Tech-savvy: computers, iPad/Tablet, Word, internet, email, and social media.
• Valid driver’s license; driving may be required.
• Must comply with motor vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Manages the monthly event calendar and move-in actions for residents using software.
• Researches, evaluates, approves, develops and modifies community events.
• Publishes an engaging monthly program calendar by the 15th of every month.
• Manages all aspects of the Activities program.
• Engages and motivates residents to participate in programs.
• Contributes to community growth through sales activities.
• Engages in public relations and local publicity stories.
• Manages departmental needs and budgets within the department.
• Serves as the community’s manager-on-duty regularly.
• Determines and manages resident transportation and outside event scheduling.
• May drive company or personal vehicle as required.
• Recruits, trains and manages volunteers.
• May perform other duties as needed.
