Job summary

The Activity Coordinator role supports organizing, promoting, and directing activities to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life, aligned with our mission and values.

The position requires 18+ years old with a high school diploma, experience coordinating activities with seniors, and a valid Class C license (Class B preferred for transport).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C license, Class B preferred for transporting residents.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director by coordinating engaging activities and excursions for Traditions Memory Care residents.
• Foster a safe, inclusive social atmosphere and promote resident participation.
• Communicate tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Drive community vehicles when needed.
• Support teamwork across departments to deliver meaningful programs.
