Maplewood Senior Living in Brewster, MA is seeking a Memory Care Lifestyle Assistant for a part-time role. You will support residents through therapeutic recreation programs, coordinate activities, and help maintain a warm, engaging living environment.

The position emphasizes excellent communication, teamwork, and compassionate care. Applicants should have an associate degree or coursework in recreation or gerontology, and be comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and Publisher.

Qualifications

• An associate degree or two years of college in recreation, gerontology or related field.
• Passion for working with seniors and improving quality of life.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
• Basic typing skills and computer knowledge; familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Publisher.
• Driver's license with good driving record; may be required to take a driving test.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all residents, family members and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge and abilities consistent with duties and responsibilities.
• Be personable, reliable, and a great communicator and team player.
• Relate professionally to residents and visitors at all levels; communicate with Lifestyle Director.
• Attend Monthly All Associate meetings; other duties as assigned.
• Lead activities appropriate for all levels and coordinate events and supplies.
• Post current schedules in public areas and maintain program materials.
