Senior Living Residences is seeking a Programming Assistant (Therapeutic Activities) to support the Program Director in creating, scheduling, and implementing therapeutic programs for memory care residents. The role emphasizes forming meaningful relationships, coordinating daily activities, and assisting with events and communications across the community in Boston, MA.

Shifts offer full-time or part-time opportunities with flexible hours Tuesday-Friday and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with elderly/Alzheimer's populations preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality & reliability for daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Form meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily therapeutic programming schedule for 7 days per week.
• Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors.
• Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site.
• Assist with support group and educational sessions for families and staff.
• Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media.
