Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a CAD Engineer 2 in Central Engineering Memory CAD to develop and support CAD tools and flows for CMOS design, layout and verification.

You will optimize design efficiency for NAND/DRAM/HBM memories, train end users on new methods, and collaborate with design, process, vendors and customers. A Masters degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent programming fundamentals are required.
• Experience with Unix and shell scripting is highly preferred.
• In-depth experience in SKILL and Python preferred; C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, Perl or Lisp will be considered.
• Masters degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Innovating to develop tools, flows, and methodologies to increase the design efficiency and quality of memory designs.
• Providing training, documentation, and support to end-users on new tools and methods.
