Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Richardson, TX is seeking a CAD Engineer to join Central Engineering. You will develop and optimize CAD software and flows for CMOS design, perform production support, and work with design, process, vendors, and customers to improve toolchains.

The role requires strong programming fundamentals, experience with UNIX shell scripting, and proficiency in SKILL and Python; knowledge of C/C++, Java, and other languages is a plus. A masters degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent programming fundamentals required.
• Experience with Unix and shell scripting is highly preferred.
• In-depth experience in SKILL and Python; C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, Perl, or Lisp also considered.
• Masters degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Innovating to develop tools, flows, and methodologies to increase the design efficiency and quality of our memory designs on NAND/DRAM/HBM.
• Providing training, documentation, and support to end-users on new tools and methods.
• Collaborating closely with design, process teams, vendors and customers.
