Job summary

Hydranautics - A Nitto Group Company is seeking a Machine Operator in Oceanside, CA. The role involves setting up and shutting down machines, preparing materials, loading/unloading on to equipment, and maintaining output with detailed quality inspections.

You will log production data, follow quality and lean manufacturing policies, and inform supervision of defect patterns. A HS diploma and basic math/reading skills are required, with ideal candidates able to work independently in a team.

Qualifications

• Six months manufacturing experience or equivalent
• Set-up, operate and adjust machines
• English reading/writing to follow work instructions
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping
• Ability to read numbers and measurements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufactur­ing environment

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to assemble components into a spiral configuration.
• Ensures glue lines and seals are applied during manufacturing.
• Loads/unloads product to/from machines and transport equipment.
• Keeps logs of production data and quality checks.
• Maintains productivity goals and 5S cleanliness.
